The Love Spell
“When I asked for a love spell, I was thinking more like Love Potion Number Nine. Not whatever I got.”
WORK IN PROGRESS — UNTITLED TIME-TRAVEL NOVEL
June Stevens finds herself stuck in life. Between a dead-end job, a dead-end town, and a dead-end marriage, she contemplates ending it all. Then, June meets a remarkable man who awakens within her an ability to travel through time. Together, they embark on a series of adventures that leave June questioning what might be worth living for after all. But, will June's romantic romp across history prove too heavy for her precariously balanced life to bear?

In the foreground, an over-exposed hand ashes a cigarette as the rising smoke obscures a statue of the Buddha in the background. The composition is grainy and out of focus.
